Course Overview
The Linux Administration Part 1 course covers all the main flavours of Linux including Red Hat, Mandrake, Debian and SuSE. The course allows delegates to have a basic understanding of the Linux environment and also provides the delegate with sufficient knowledge to take the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Certification Level 1 Exam 101.
Using a straight forward approach, each lesson builds upon the previous one allowing the delegate to learn the essentials of Linux from the ground up.
Who should attend
Users with administration experience of other operating systems who now need to administer a Linux system. The course is the first in the Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) process and will be of use to users planning on sitting the LPIC Level 1 Exam 101.
