NKT Training. provide UNIX training, Solaris training, HPUX training and Linux Training On-Site anywhere within the UK and Europe.
Training courses can be provided in most Open Systems operating system administration including Solaris, HPUX and Linux. Clients can choose from a range of NKT Services courses which include course materials or, alternatively, courses can be made to the clients specifications.
On completion of NKT Services standard courses, delegates will have had sufficient knowledge to complete one of the many certification exams. e.g. Solaris Certified Administrator, HPUX Certified Administrator Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) and Red Hat Linux Certified Engineer
5 days training for 5 delegate for just GBP3,000
Courses are held at the client's site usually to a maximum of 8 delegates per course. By providing only On-Site courses, NKT Services has no overheads and is therefore able to provide courses at a substantial reduction to similar courses held at dedicated training centres. How else can we provide a 5 day training course for 5 delegates with equipment and course material for only GBP 3,000. That's the equivalent of only 2 delegates at a dedicated training centre.
We Provide the Equipment
With most on-site training providers, it is the clients responsibility to provide the equipment for the course. This usually means that the appropriate software has to be loaded and tested prior to the course starting. In extreme cases, the equipment provided may not be suitable for the course.
By providing our own training equipment, we can ensure that the equipment is appropriate for the course and, if necessary, all software is loaded, configured and tested prior to the equipment being delivered to site. Once on site, the equipment is connected to their own private network to ensure that no security risks or viruses can be transmitted. This ensure a prompt start to the course, no unpleasant surprises for the instructor and no time lost with the instructor having to fix problems.
The machines provided are Dell Dimension PCs for the Linux courses and Sun UltraSPARC workstations for the Solaris and Unix courses. The machines are complete with keyboard, mouse and flat screen monitors.
What does the Client need to provide?
To hold an NKT Services course on your site, it is necessary to provide a room suitable for a training course. There should be sufficient room and ventilation for the number of delegates and equipment. Each delegate will need at least a 1000mm wide standard desk to hold the PC and course notes comfortably. There should also be a similar sized desk at the front of the room for the instructor. The room will also require a large whiteboard and be equipped with a VGA projector which projects on to a separate screen, not the whiteboard.
